By i.e. supporting "Project Vision" the vision of an individual affected by cataract will be restored for the price of only 50 Sfr (around $35). I believe in promoting cataract surgery because it is sustainable. The surgery is a one-time measure, which shows an extremely high success-rate (over 90%), it restores vision within a day, and it does not have to be repeated later in life. It enables the patient to continue with his/her work or education. Hence the project helps people to help themselves.
